GSL Education are currently recruiting a KS 1 Teaching Assistant to work in supportive schools around Gainsborough. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy encouraging young learners during their early years of education.
Responsibilities as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:
* Support pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, either 1:1 or in small groups.
* Assist in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Provide pastoral and academic support tailored to individual needs.
* Assist with phonics, reading, numeracy and creative activities.
Requirements for KS1 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with children is desirable.
* Passionate about early education and child development.
* Good communication and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
* Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
