Job Description
Bradley David Associates is seeking for a leading logistics and freight-forwarding provide for an LCL Import Operator to join their team, focusing on LCL consolidated import shipments. This role is ideal for a professional with some import experience who is eager to develop their skills and progress into managing consolidation operations.
Responsibilities:
· Handle LCL consolidated import shipments from origin to final delivery
· Assist with consolidation planning and learn end-to-end consolidation processes
· Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, and internal teams
· Monitor shipment progress and update customers on status and timelines
· Ensure accurate data entry and documentation within internal systems
· Support customs clearance processes in collaboration with internal customs teams
· Provide administrative and operational support to senior operators
Requirements
Skills Required:
· Previous experience in import operations (LCL experience preferred)
· Strong interest in learning and developing consolidation expertise
· Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
· Confident and professional communication skills
· Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment
· Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the role
· Basic to strong IT skills and confidence learning new systems
Requirements
Skills & Experience Required: · Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the logistics or oil & gas industry. · Solid understanding of project logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations, particularly in energy or industrial sectors. · Strong experience in client engagement, contract negotiation, and solution selling. · Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
