We have an exciting opportunity for a people-focused individual to join us as a Dialler Income Officer! This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to further develop their skills in Housing.
Please note - we are recruiting for 2 x positions for this role.
You’ll join a welcoming and supportive team who are the first point of rent-arrears related contact for tenants via inbound and outbound calls. You’ll utilise your interpersonal abilities to negotiate with tenants and arrange the repayment of low-level rent related debt in a timely and affordable manner. Excellent customer service, communication, and organisation skills are key to success in this role!
As part of our people-focused organisation, you’ll be mindful of tenants' personal circumstances at all times, whilst aiming to maximise our income, which allows us to grow and improve our services and provide more tenants with an affordable place to call home. Our ideal candidate?
We’re seeking a customer-focused individual with a genuine desire to resolve problems and help tenants sustain their tenancy. You’ll also demonstrate the following skills and experience:
1. Customer service experience ideally within a debt/rent collection setting
2. Knowledge of Social Housing and welfare benefits
3. Experience of using a range of IT packages including MS Office and in-house systems
4. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate in a calm, confident, and efficient manner
Please note, we require a mandatory cover letter for this role. This should detail your experience or knowledge of Social Housing, including your knowledge of Housing Management, the welfare system, and being tenant-focused.
