The Opportunity:
As Tendering Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the early stages of project development, preparing accurate cost estimates and delivering high-quality, commercially competitive tender submissions for HV and LV works up to 132kV.
You’ll work closely with engineering, project, and commercial teams to produce bids that are technically sound, commercially viable, and perfectly aligned with client needs across renewables, utilities, and private networks.
Responsibilities of the Tendering Engineer:
* Manage new project enquiries across renewables, private networks, and distribution sectors
* Prepare quotations, estimates, and detailed tender documentation for HV and LV projects
* Collaborate with engineers and suppliers to gather technical and pricing information
* Ensure all tenders meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance
* Build lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and site visits where required
* Support pipeline planning, forecasting, and reporting for ongoing and future works
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency across the tendering function
What we are looking for?
* Experience in estimating, tendering, or technical sales within the electrical or power sector
* Good understanding of HV and LV networks (up to 132kV)
* Qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* At least 3 years’ experience in the power, utilities, or renewable energy sector
