The role presents an exciting opportunity to drive the key account management and new business for the company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the success of developing our existing key accounts and new business opportunities.
To succeed in role, the candidate needs to have a proven sales track record in developing leads and bringing new business in. Be able to develop and build business relationships and have developed existing business relationships. Experience within e-commerce is desirable. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is working prospects through the entire sales process, including generating leads, educating them in our offer and converting those interested into long-term customers.
Role Responsibilities
* Identify and realise new business opportunities across a wide range of sectors.
* Proactively contact potential clients to self-generate your own pipeline opportunities.
* Converting prospects into successful clients through sales methods such as cold calling, cold emailing, to achieve revenue targets.
* Manage and grow a database of prospect clients and new customers
* Work with the Client Success team in creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
* Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, the competition within their industry and their positioning.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with our current key accounts
* Actively promoting the brand and providing excellent customer service at all times
* Researching new markets
* Pitching products to new and existing clients
* Preparing product pitches and preparing presentations to prospective clients
* Becoming a subject matter expert on the company’s products, processes and operations
* Maintaining customer accounts and records of sales
