Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring an Industrial Mechanic for a specialized manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT.
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:00PM | Full-Time
Duties
The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of complex industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on various industrial equipment.
* Dismantle, assemble, and adjust machinery using manuals, drawings, and standard tools.
* Install, align, and calibrate equipment components.
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
* Complete basic electrical tasks such as wiring, circuit repairs, and component replacements.
* Use precision tools for soldering, crimping, and part fabrication.
* Safely handle and troubleshoot electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment.
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED (Required)
* Technical or trade school certificate in electrical, mechanical, or related technology
* 1 - 2 years of relevant maintenance or industrial repair experience
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints
* Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding
* Experience using hand tools, meters, gauges, and alignment equipment
* Must communicate effectively in English and Spanish
