The Role As a Geography Cover Supervisor, you will play an essential role in supporting the Humanities department by: Delivering pre‑prepared Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment Encouraging students’ engagement in geographical topics such as landscapes, ecosystems, globalisation and climate issues Supporting learners of all abilities to stay on task Using your passion for Geography to spark curiosity and maintain high expectations Stepping in to support other Humanities subjects when required Working closely with teachers and support staff to uphold department values and routines This is an excellent stepping‑stone for aspiring Geography teachers or anyone keen to build experience within a subject‑specific setting.
