We have an exciting opportunity for a Home Insurance Pricing Specialist to join our growing and supportive team. This is a great job for candidates with experience in general insurance pricing to join us and assist our team in managing our intermediated home portfolio.
Aviva has introduced “smart-working” and the person in this role could potentially be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are comfortable regularly travelling to our Norwich office, where the Broker Pricing team are based.
A bit about the job:
This role is key to our business; working with internal and external partners to manage and optimise our Broker Home pricing. You will use your market knowledge, experience of general insurance pricing, modelling tools and data science techniques to provide analysis-based pricing recommendations. The role will involve learning about pricing and price optimisation as well as leading our home pricing strategy, acting as a point of reference for technical pricing and teaching other members of the team. Supporting the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables is key to this role, as it enables us to act in good faith towards customers and avoid causing foreseeable harm.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Strong experience in General Insurance pricing (home insurance pricing beneficial)
2. Comfortable working independently and managing relationships across grades and teams
3. The ability to handle and deliver on own workload
4. Experience of using Radar and strong Excel skills with the ability to find creative solutions to problems, balancing practicality with innovation
5. The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience both internally and externally

6. National salary £45,000 - £65,000, London salary £55,000 - £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
