Part Time HGV Class 1 Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for part-time HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Shifts:
Friday - Sunday
Start times between: 8am - 2pm or 8pm - 11pm
Shift ranges from 8-11 hours on average
Rates of pay:
Monday - Friday: £19.20 per hour
Saturday - Sunday: £20.35 per hour
Rates are PAYE with holiday accrued separately

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a HGV Class 1 Driver will be:
Class 1 Trunking Depot to Depot
Occasional collection from suppliers when needed
Driving/operating refrigerated trailers
No handball involved
Daily vehicle checks
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a HGV Class 1 Driver will be:
Minimum of twelve months experience driving Category CE vehicles
Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC/CPC)
Experience driving/operating refrigerated trailers
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of the UK road network
Training:
Driving assessment must be passed prior to starting
Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
