OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To manage and coordinate the compliant and efficient dispatch, transportation, import, and export of goods and services across the group.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Implement and execute strategies for despatch of goods and/or services across the Ipeco Group to meet the Logistics Functional Procedure.
2. Implement and execute strategies for despatch of goods and/or services across the Ipeco Group to meet the Logistics Functional KPIs.
3. Implement and execute strategies to meet import and export compliance activities in line with Incoterms and any legislation that may be in force (including but not limited to tariffs, restrictions, temporary import/export).
4. Implement and execute strategies for the transportation of hazardous goods and substances in the UK and overseas.
5. Ensure that the Company has appropriate systems to enable it to conduct its logistics activities both lawfully and ethically.
6. Work collaboratively with other functions to support Programme and Business objectives.
7. Conduct activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Companys standards and policies, including environmental, safety, and health policies.
