At Willowbrook Hospice we have an exciting opportunity to recruit a new Holistic Support Assistant, 30 hours per week over 4 days, flexible to meet the needs of the service (may require some out of hours working). Please note this is a 2-year contract (with the potential for further extension).

Responsibilities
The post holder will be required to be adaptive and creative in their approach and care to maximise holistic intervention and wellbeing activities across outreach and inpatient services; bringing our values to life that 'every contact counts.'
This post will take on a support role to provide general level holistic support (craft, relaxation, symptom management techniques, psychological support and basic therapeutic interventions as some examples) where needed and will work as an assistant under the supervision of the respective healthcare professionals, working collaboratively with all disciplines to ensure high standard holistic care for the service users of Willowbrook.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in Health Care or a related area.
Genuine interest/experience in palliative care, with evidence of experience in health care related settings.
Committed and willing to further professional skills and development; with a genuine interest in Holistic approaches to care and good digital awareness and skills.
You must be a car owner, with a full driving licence, able to facilitate booked home visits within our locality (travel expenses covered).
