Job Description
My client are looking for a Finance professional to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis as a Finance Assistant. Whilst the opportunity is initially considered entry level, we are looking for a candidate who would like to develop into a more established Accountancy position.
The role would suit an Accountancy or Finance Graduate looking for their first commercial role, or a more established Finance professional seeking an opportunity to join a thriving business.
Key Tasks:
1. Supporting the client base by quickly and efficiently answering a range of accountancy enquiries
2. Assisting with Finance tasks including; year ends, VAT returns, tax returns, book keeping and internal audits.
3. Liaising with colleagues to ensure clients are receiving the best possible service.
4. Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to follow up quires with clients
5. Completing a range of finance related administrative tasks.
The Candidate:
6. We are looking for a candidate who has a genuine desire to pursue a career in Accountancy and Finance, ideally with a related degree or equivalent.
7. You will be a professional and confident communicator, able to converse effectively with a clients and colleagues at all levels both verbally and in writing.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are important along with a high level of initiative.
9. A good standard of IT is required, particularly Excel.
