JobIntroduction:
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a crucial rolein keeping the site running smoothly. You'll be responsible for supporting theaccurate and timely financial administration of the Mess, including billing,debtor/creditor management, and customer service.
What You'll Do:
Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using internal systems
* Produce and issue monthly mess bills on time
* Allocate and reconcile Direct Debits and cash payments
* Maintain debtor and creditor ledgers to support effective cash flow
* Respond to mess member queries promptly and professionally
* Maintain accurate mess membership lists (joiners, leavers) import EPOS sales, monthly charges, and function charges
* Manage private function billing (quotes, invoices, payment links) and process related forms
* Ensure secure storage and banking of cash/cheques in line with procedures
* Generate and send reports to stakeholders and clients
ExperienceRequired:
* Minimum AAT Level 2 Qualification
* Previous experience in transactional finance or accounts support
* Excellent literacy and numeracy
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
