Dover Christ Church Academy is looking to recruit an exceptional Teacher of History. This role provides an exciting opportunity to help shape our curriculum and provision throughout our new school.
The successful candidate will have the motivation and desire to develop pupil's achievements within a department who are focused and determined to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress. They will be committed to working as part of a team, have strong, up to date subject knowledge and be committed to ensuring that pupils in their care make exceptional progress. Our ability to offer an exceptional level of specialist support means that this role could be suitable for an ECT.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
1. Is able to demonstrate they are an excellent practitioner with high expectations of teaching and learning, achievement and behaviour
2. Is able to inspire pupils through the delivery of engaging, creative and challenging lessons
3. Is able to support our pupils to reach their full potential
4. Can offer pupils a high quality curriculum, giving them confidence to succeed
5. Has the ability to teach English across two or more key stages.
