Salary: up to £35,000
An exciting Debt Recovery Paralegal has become available with an established Top 150 national law firm based in Birmingham offering hybrid working.
Youll be joining a supportive an established Litigation (Debt Recovery) Team with an excellent benefits package. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, award winning firm with a strong reputation in the legal market.
The Role:
* Manage defended debt and insolvency matters from instruction through to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Draft and prepare legal documentation, including court applications, witness statements, defences, statutory demands, and enforcement proceedings
* Advise clients on dispute resolution, insolvency processes, enforcement strategies, settlement options, and recovery prospects
* Liaise with clients, courts, insolvency practitioners, enforcement agents, and other stakeholders to progress cases effectively
* Monitor case progress, statutory deadlines, and enforcement activity, providing clear updates and pragmatic recommendations
* Support business development initiatives through client engagement, networking events, and collaboration with the wider team
About you:
* 1 years experience in debt recovery
* Strong team player with excellent relationship-building skills
* Adaptable, flexible, and calm under pressure
* Eager to learn and develop professional knowledge
* Able to work independently and collaboratively
* Effective communicator with strong client-facing skills
* Organised, discreet, and committed to high standards
