Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons that follow the school's curriculum guides.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback on their academic performance.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
* Support and guide students in their academic and personal development, providing appropriate pastoral care.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and resources.
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events as required.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics education.
* Experience teaching Physics to secondary school students.
* Familiarity with the national curriculum and examination boards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
* Dedication to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and methodologies.
