Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Job Description:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Your primary duty will be to ensure that the learning environment remains conducive to student progress and engagement. This role requires effective behaviour management skills and the ability to follow the lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
Job Duties:
* Supervising students in the classroom during the teacher's absence
* Implementing the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
* Maintaining a positive learning environment
* Managing student behaviour and ensuring discipline is maintained
* Providing support to students in their learning activities
* Reporting back on student progress and any issues to the appropriate staff
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Experience working in a school setting
* Demonstrated ability in behaviour management
Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required for this position.
Experience:
Previous experience in a school environment or similar educational setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
* Understanding of educational practises and principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in education or relevant field would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position with part-time hours. The salary range is £85 - £100 per day, based on experience and qualifications. The role may require flexibility in working hours and locations within the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
