Salary: Grade A - £24,413 per year pro rata, £12.65 per hour
Salary for part time working £9,897.16 per year
Hours: 15 hours per week, 6am to 9am Monday to Friday
Location: Ilkeston Town Hall (or other Council buildings)
Join Our Team as a Cleaner – Help Us Keep Every Space Sparkling! If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming environments, have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, we’d love to have you on our team. This is a rota-based position (including some evenings and weekends), offering flexibility and variety in your schedule.
What You’ll Do
* You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across: office spaces, public areas, toilets and washrooms.
* Your responsibilities will include general cleaning duties, using equipment and machinery as required, and ensuring all areas are kept spotless, hygienic, and welcoming.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in general cleaning (preferred)
* A positive, team-focused attitude
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Confidence to work independently when needed
* Physically able to lift and move equipment
