Content & Communications Manager
Location: Watford
Working hours: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs a week
Salary: £40,000
Purpose of the Role
As the Content Manager, you will be the driving force behind developing high-quality external content that showcases our client's certification schemes and technical expertise. This hands‑on role requires a proactive individual who excels at crafting clear, impactful messages across various platforms. You will oversee their digital and design presence, working to solidify their status as a leading authority in the certification and built‑environment sectors.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Content Creation & Management: Craft engaging, timely content that promotes certification services and brand values.
* Lead the development of content that enhances the client journey and educates diverse audiences.
* Produce blogs, articles, case studies, videos, and more!
* Digital & Social Media Management: Own and manage social media channels, including LinkedIn and YouTube.
* Analyse data to refine content strategies and improve audience engagement.
* Website Management: Update and optimise website content, ensuring clarity and alignment with brand messaging.
* Collaborate with web developers to enhance user experience and SEO.
* Design & Creative: Create or coordinate design assets for various campaigns.
* Maintain brand consistency across all communications.
* PR & Collaboration: Liaise with Public Relations partners to align content with corporate messaging.
* Support events and industry conferences with promotional materials.
You must have:
* Proven experience in content creation and communications and marketing.
* Proficient in design tools (Adobe Suite) and website management (WordPress).
* Strong writing, editing skills, and an understanding of SEO principles.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
* Strategic mindset.
