Job Title: Cleaning Cover Job Purpose: To provide high-quality cleaning services on a cover basis, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a clean, safe, and hygienic standard. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Clean and sanitise toilets, kitchens, and communal areas Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately Replenish cleaning supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including the safe use of cleaning products Report any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant person Ensure all areas are left secure and tidy after cleaning Provide cover for absent staff as required, sometimes at short notice Person Specification: Essential: Reliable and punctual Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good attention to detail Basic understanding of health and safety procedures Desirable: Previous cleaning experience Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products Flexibility to work different shifts or locations if needed Working Hours: Flexible / as required to cover staff absence (may include early mornings and weekends)
