Paralegal – Crime Team – Leeds
A busy and expanding Crime team in Leeds is seeking a Criminal Law Paralegal to join on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in criminal law who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established team.
Overview
The role will involve:
* Supporting fee earners on criminal matters
* Providing a high standard of client care
* Managing files via a case management system, including drafting correspondence
* Completing public funding applications
* Preparing, collating and redacting court bundles
* Liaising with Courts, Police, local authorities, medical professionals and experts
Qualifications
* Have completed or be undertaking legal studies (LPC/BPC, SQE prep or equivalent)
* Demonstrate a clear interest in Criminal Law
* Hold Police Station Accreditation (preferred)
* Be highly organised and able to work well under pressure
