Willmotts Transport is expanding and we're on the lookout for a people-focused, customer-driven Warehouse Operations Manager who's not afraid to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the warehouse team to meet daily operational targets and KPIs.
* Take ownership of warehouse initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Motivate and engage the team to ensure timely and accurate order dispatch.
* Design and implement optimal warehouse processes and workflows.
* Oversee warehouse layout and space utilisation to maximise efficiency.
* Align warehouse operations with broader business objectives, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance service.
* Ensure all team members are trained, competent, and performing effectively.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution management.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and achieving performance targets.
* Proficient in warehouse management systems and general IT tools.
* Solid understanding of warehouse operations including picking, packing, stock control, and loading.
* Forklift licence (counterbalance and reach truck) preferred.
* Flexible approach to tasks and working hours.
* Strong grasp of KPIs and performance metrics.

* This is a full-time position hours of work Core hours Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00

After 2 year's unbroken service employees will receive an additional day's holiday which will increase by an extra day (pro rata where necessary) after each additional full years' service up to a maximum of 3 days.
