UI/UX Designer (5 Years Experience) Location: Hybrid (London) Contract Outside IR35:6 Months We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong background in user experience design, preferably within the travel industry or other customer-centric digital platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the product development cycle to create seamless, user-friendly solutions. You will apply your expertise to enhance our digital products, ensuring they deliver engaging, accessible experiences that meet business objectives and user needs. Key Responsibilities: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to gather user requirements and develop design concepts that align with both user and business goals. Lead the end-to-end design process, producing wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps using Figma and other design tools. Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve overall user experience. Prepare comprehensive design specifications and documentation for engineering teams. Iterate on designs based on feedback and performance data to optimize usability and engagement. Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote best practices throughout the organization. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to guide design strategy and innovation. Key Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the travel industry or similar fast-paced, content-rich environments. Proven track record of working in agile teams and collaborating closely with engineering during product delivery. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions and proficiency with tools like Figma. Experience with user journey mapping, storyboarding, and prototyping. Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and design thinking methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present design ideas to various stakeholders.
