The role of Legal Assistant- Conveyancing will include:
1. Support the delivery and process of conveyancing transactions which will include homeownership re-sales, staircasing transactions, lease extension and homebuy loan redemptions
2. Co-ordinate effective legal administration service to ensure all records of transactions and related activity are maintained accurately to demonstrate corporate compliance in all aspects of conveyancing transactions
3. Maintain accurate, accessible and up-to-date data conveyancing transactions and related KPIs for auditing and reporting purposes
4. Assist in the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
5. Contribute, as appropriate, to special programs and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives
Skills and experiences:
6. Proven experience within a similar administrative role is essential
7. Previous conveyancing experience is preferable
8. Previous experience within a customer service focused admin role
9. A working knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current practice
10. High accuracy with excellent attention to detail
11. The ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
12. Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner
13. Experience using Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook or similar

26. £27,521 per annum (rising to £28,970 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
