Overview
The Activities Coordinator (known internally as Lifestyles Coordinator) plays a vital part in helping residents live well each day. You'll support the organisation and promotion of a varied activities programme, ensuring it is inclusive, engaging and tailored to residents' individual interests and needs.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the delivery of a diverse programme of activities that reflect residents' personalities, preferences and choices.
* Championing person-centred care by empowering residents to make lifestyle choices that are meaningful to them.
* Spending time with residents in genuine, engaging conversations and supporting activities at a pace that values individuality, dignity and communication differences.
* Experience planning or supporting events or activities, ideally within a care or healthcare setting.
* Excellent communication skills and a real passion for enhancing residents\' wellbeing.
* Knowledge of dementia care is an advantage.
* The ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to home life.
