What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist the Cook with the preparation of varied, nutritious meals for residents.
* Help with serving meals, being understanding of specific food requirements and ensuring respect, dignity and choice for all residents.
* Comply with statutory and legal requirements such as HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH, Environmental Health, maintaining a safe environment.
* Clean and tidy all areas of the kitchen, following cleaning schedules and using correct products to keep the home at the highest standards.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is safe and working; report any faults immediately.
* Receive, unload, store and rotate stock correctly to maintain optimum freshness.
* Work as an integral part of the team, contributing to meetings and training sessions, fostering a friendly and supportive environment.
