Financial Accountant
We’re looking for a strong, detail-focused Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. If you’re someone who enjoys hands‑on financial control, balance sheet ownership, and working within a fast‑paced, international environment, then Biesse UK could be the team for you.
About your role
* Lead and review balance sheet reconciliations (main focus).
* Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Manage Concur expense reviews and liaise with internal teams.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Perform bank reconciliations and Kyriba cashflow matching.
* Complete intercompany cash‑pooling reconciliations.
* Oversee month‑end activities in Oracle and prepare key journals.
* Provide cover for AP/AR when required.
* Process and reconcile intercompany invoices.
* Support VAT returns, corporate tax tasks, and inventory counts.
About You
* Qualified or part‑qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Confident with reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial compliance.
* High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Experience with Oracle EBS, Excel, Kyriba, or cash pooling is a plus.
