An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full time and one part time Performance Assistants to support the Head of Performance in delivering an effective performance function across the Group. The role focuses on improving Elective Care Standards, with particular emphasis on supporting the Referral to Treatment target through pathway validation, data accuracy and management of data quality reports. The applicant should have excellent working knowledge of Referral to Treatment rules and be able to interrogate data.
Main duties of the job
* Support the Head of Performance to provide an effective performance function across the Group.
* Assist the Group in meeting responsibilities related to improvement of Elective Care Standards.
* Support the Referral to Treatment target by validating pathways, ensuring data accuracy and managing data quality reports.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, carers, clinicians, managers and all other staff working internally and externally to the Group.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 in all communications.
* Utilise strong written, keyboard and communication skills to produce accurate data entry.
* Work proactively and independently, taking initiative to resolve issues to the benefit of patients, staff and the organisation.
* Lead and support staff within the area of responsibility.
* Liaise with internal and external bodies to arrange meetings and events for the department as required.

Person Specification
* Experience: Minimum 2 years NHS experience in an administrative role.
* Qualifications: Good standard of general education to GCSE/NVQ level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
* Additional Experience: Excellent working knowledge of the Group EPR system; excellent keyboard skills with experience of Excel; knowledge and understanding of Referral to Treatment (RTT); good understanding of the Group Access Policy.
* Communication: Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media.
* Knowledge: Knowledge of the Group PAS systems, e.g., G2, WebV.
