We are looking for a skilled Grill Cook who has experience working with Josper* Grill for preparing and cooking various grilled foods, such as burgers, steaks, and chicken. In this role, you will be expected to follow recipes and cooking instructions, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards in a high volume.
* Cook and prepare a variety of grilled dishes such as burgers, steaks, chicken, and fish. Maintain a clean and organized Josper* grill area, including proper storage and labeling of food items. Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and served in a timely manner. Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food items are prepared and served according to established standards. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of raw meat and other ingredients. Assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks in the kitchen as needed. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns about menu items. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new grilling techniques to continuously improve performance.
* Ability to operate and maintain grilling equipment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines. Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills Prior experience working as a grill cook or in a similar role. Knowledge of different cooking techniques and seasoning. Excellent time-management and multitasking skills Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
