CNC Machinist | Boroughbridge, York | Full Time | 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 17:00, with an early finish on Friday, 8:00 – 14:30 | Starting from £28,000 to £32,500 per annum DOE

Our client is looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to programme, set and run their 4-axis Homag and 5-axis Morbidelli CNC machines. You will be an integral part of the Production process that works with solid grade laminates, MDF, MFC & solid surface material.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery with a keen eye for detail as well as the ability to problem solve and adjust programmes where necessary.

Are you the right person for the job?

* Proficient in operating a CNC router in the wood panel industry
* Ability to program would be a bonus – Woodwop and Xilog
* An eye for detail with a high level of accuracy
* Able to work under pressure
* Team player with a positive and friendly attitude and strong communication skills
* Experience with materials handling, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products
* FLT Qualified (desirable)

What will your role look like?

1. To oversee the full operation of CNC machines
2. Ensure all panels produced meet the company quality standards
3. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
