Job Description

3. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including maintaining company records and filing returns.
4. Provide guidance on corporate governance best practices to the board and senior management.
5. Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and other documentation for board and committee meetings.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for legal and regulatory bodies.
7. Support the organisation in managing shareholder communications and meetings.
8. Oversee the maintenance of statutory registers and manage company filings.
9. Assist in drafting and reviewing governance and compliance policies.
10. Provide support for corporate transactions and other business activities as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Company Secretary should have:

11. A professional qualification in governance or a related field.
12. Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a secretarial or governance role.
13. Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
14. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
15. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
