Position Overview Ithaca Energy is accepting applications for the position of Transportation and Installation Engineer located in our Aberdeen Office. Reporting to the Subsea Engineering Manager, the Transporation and Installation Engineer will support the installation phases across the Development Projects within the Company's portfolio. Additionally will support the Subsea Engineering Manager in defining the most suitable subsea development options and contracting strategy to maximize the value of the Projects. Responsibilities Provision of Transportation and Installation (T&I) engineering support across all Development Projects within the Company's portfolio. Will be involved in: Production of T&I deliverables during the Define and Execution Phases of the project Preparation of functional and technical specifications for T&I deliverables Involved in the technical and commercial evaluation of tenders for transportation and installation scopes Provision of technical assistance during detail engineering, construction, installation, tow and hook-up phases Day to day management of engineering teams, site supervisors and T&I Contractors Management of key interfaces between the installed faciltiies Participation in Subsea Lessons Learned activities. Qualifications & Experience Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline Proven track record in a similar roles across the subsea sector of oil and gas industry, with particular focus on transportation and installation of subsea and floating facilities. Understanding of the design and fabrication aspects of subsea and floating facilities developments is advantageous Valid offshore survival and medical preferred Previous direct involvement on MCP's including: the tow-out and hook up of FPSO's, subsea faciltiies installations, crane/heaving lifting operations, other Marine/construction activities, active in promotion of HSEQ through all stages of a Project lifecycle. Knowledge of Logistics Planning. Understanding of: HSEQ: including involvement in HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS and and Environmental studies Project management: contracting strategies, program and budget, planning and control, cost estimate, contractor management and risk management Engineering, construction, inspection and expediting, installation and commissioning, QA/QC for offshoredevelopments ITT Preparation: technical, commercial and contractual evaluation.
