Our client is a dynamic and fast-paced private equity firm based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Renowned for its professional, high-achieving culture, the firm is seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide first-class front-of-house support and ad hoc administrative assistance during busy periods.


Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £25,000-£30,000

Contract: Full-Time (Office-Based 5 days a week)

The Role


As the first point of contact for clients, investors, and visitors, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the firm’s professional image. You’ll manage the reception area, handle incoming calls and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.


Key Responsibilities


* Professionally meet and greet all visitors and clients, ensuring a warm and efficient welcome.
* Answer and direct incoming calls, take accurate messages, and manage enquiries.
* Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate refreshments or catering as required.
* Handle incoming and outgoing post and courier services.
* Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
* Provide general administrative support to the wider team, including document preparation, filing, and data entry.
* Assist with ad hoc projects and office coordination tasks as needed.


About You


* Previous reception or front-of-house experience is essential, ideally gained within a blue-chip or corporate environment.
* Immaculate presentation and a confident, professional manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* A proactive and flexible approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service.
