You will work within the IT Operations team and be one of the go-to people for core system support and improvements. You will have a passion for IT, a thirst for knowledge and will demonstrate proactive learning and innovative problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
* undertake projects to design, configure, and implement solutions in line with business requirements and SLAs
* take ownership of application issues, ensure thorough investigation and effective resolution
* identify root causes and mitigating actions
* identify areas for improvement to benefit IT and the wider business
* provide advice, consultancy and support on IT projects as required
* work in collaboration with IT and business colleagues
* be a point of escalation for the IT service desk
* provide ongoing customer contact throughout the lifecycle of the request/project
* document configuration, processes, and test plans to continually improve performance and service
* highlight risks and suggest mitigating actions
* create and maintain documentation relating to application setup, configuration, processes etc and ensure knowledge is shared with IT colleagues
* employ a strict testing regime
* adhere to change management processes
* log and update tickets in the ITSM system
What We’re Looking For
Must have experience in:
* Providing Application Support services
* Configuration of the QL housing management system (in-depth knowledge) and its related systems (DRS, Versaa)
* Deep understanding of business processes in the housing sector
* SQL Server & Reporting Experience (SSRS, Restores, Debugging performance), including large data set import/exports
* Defining a problem and applying problem-solving methodology to make improvements and/or prevent reoccurrences of issues
* Supplier collaboration
* Experience of systems migrations
* Experience of leading on Software upgrades
For Added Brilliance
* Experience in developing Power Apps & Power Automate
* Knowledge of finance processes & systems
* A general understanding of core infrastructure and networking in the cloud
* Excellent team working and customer service skills
* Use proven communication, analytical, and problem solving skills to resolve issues to maximise the benefit of IT services
* A self-starter with a can-do attitude
