The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, contract negotiation, delivery and governance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail to manage and optimize contracts within our logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with logistics providers to ensure the best terms and services. - Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, addressing any issues that may arise. - Implement governance frameworks to oversee contract management processes, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and industry standards. - Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, operations, and legal to align contract management strategies with business objectives. - Conduct regular reviews and audits of contracts to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. - Maintain accurate records of all contract documents and correspondence. - Provide training and guidance to staff on contract management and governance procedures. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and contract management to enhance operational efficiency. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract execution.
