The Property Officer role offers straightforward, hands-on work inspecting void properties to ensure homes are safe, secure, and ready for re-let, while working within a supportive housing team.As a Property Officer, you will be: Inspecting void properties to check for abuse, vandalism, fly-tipping, or unauthorised occupation.
Reporting any issues, damage, or health and safety concerns in a clear and timely manner.
Completing basic inspection reports and updating internal systems.
Liaising with housing and repairs teams to flag follow-on actions.
Covering properties across the North Northamptonshire region during scheduled shifts.
Wed love to speak to anyone who has: Previous experience working as a Property Officer or in a similar housing, estates, or inspection-based role.
A good eye for detail and the ability to spot issues within vacant properties.
Confidence working independently and managing a daily inspection route.
Basic IT skills for reporting and record keeping.
A full UK driving licence.
This role offers: Interim contract for a minimum of 3 months.
Working hours of 12:00pm 5:00pm, 5 days per week.
Fuel card provided for work-related travel.
A straightforward role within a well-established housing provider.
Location & Travel: Covering void properties across North Northamptonshire.
