Overview
An opportunity is available for an Air Testing Engineer to join a friendly and professional team. The role involves conducting air leakage tests on a variety of buildings and contributing to the energy performance documentation process. The position requires travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform air leakage testing on site in accordance with industry standards.
* Record and report test results accurately for inclusion in energy performance reports.
* Liaise professionally with clients and site personnel to ensure testing is completed efficiently.
* Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.
* Represent the company courteously on construction sites of various sizes.
* Support the team with related services, such as acoustic testing and ventilation commissioning (with training provided).
Requirements
* Numerate and capable of understanding basic geometry.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
* Basic IT proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Willingness to travel long distances and stay overnight when required.
* Full UK driving licence (maximum of 3 penalty points).
* Experience within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
* Air testing qualification (ATTMA or iATS) is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided.
