General Dynamics in St Leonards-on-Sea currently provide avionic mission computing systems for a wide range of military fast jets, helicopters, and UAV’s. Recent success has resulted in General Dynamics developing the next generation of Advanced High Performance, Safety Critical Mission Computer Systems to meet the needs of latest platforms in development by several aircraft manufacturers. These Mission Computing Systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft systems, sensor systems and stores management systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet the demanding operational needs of these aircraft.
Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner, reporting to the Director of Human Resources, is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering HR programmes. This role delivers proactive, customer-focused support to achieve organisational objectives and contribute to People and Business Strategies.
The successful candidate will support various client groups, develop HR initiatives to impact key business objectives, and play a crucial role in company-wide strategies.The Human Resources Business Partner, is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering HR programmes.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
Essential
* Degree, or equivalent, in a Human Resources or Business-related discipline
* Experience in a similar HR Business Partner /Generalist role in a complex, matrix environment
* Broad knowledge of employment legislation and experience of HR policy development and implementation.
Desirable
* CIPD qualified
* Hands-on experience with a wide range of office applications and HR information and management systems i.e. Oracle.
* Previous experience working on people change programmes would be considered a valuable asset.
Additional Information
This role has a salary of between £55,600 and £69,500 depending on experience plus our flexible benefits package and bonus.
We are open to this role being spent with time working from home and in the office (hybrid - typically 3 days working in office) on a weekly basis or fully in our offices.
Relocation assistance may be available for qualifying UK based applicants to move closer to our site.
