Due to recent restructuring within the Diabetes and Endocrine services, we have an exciting opportunity for an advanced clinical pharmacist to join the Clinical Pharmacy team and work within the Medical Specialities in NHS Clyde.
Responsibilities
* The focus of the post will be to provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to the services, including running pharmacist-led clinics reviewing new patients, providing clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment plans.
* You will contribute to the monitoring and development of prescribing protocols for existing and newly introduced high-cost medicines and contribute to auditing data collection and research within the specialty.
* This post will require a committed individual with excellent communication, multi-disciplinary team-working and time management skills to ensure the delivery of both patient-centered pharmaceutical care and delivery of cost-effective prescribing strategies for NHS Clyde.
Qualifications
* You should be registered with the GPhC.
* You should hold a post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent.
* You should be a registered independent pharmacist prescriber.
