Description Salary: £30,559 - £32,654 Pro rata Hours per week: 27 hours Term time only Interview date: Monday 7 July 2025 Voice and Participation Service - Empowering Young Voices Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have the creativity, energy and drive to lead a brand-new project supporting young carers in schools? We’re excited to offer two fantastic opportunities to join our Voice and Participation Service, where we champion the voices of children, young people, and families across Wiltshire. As a Young Carers School Worker, you’ll work directly with schools to help them achieve the Young Carers in Schools Award. You’ll lead assemblies, run peer support groups, and raise awareness of the challenges young carers face. You’ll also support school staff to better understand and respond to the needs of young carers through training and guidance. We’re looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for supporting young people. You’ll need experience working with children and young people, and a qualification in social work, youth work, or education (or equivalent experience). You’ll be confident working independently, full of ideas, and ready to shape a new and exciting project. This is a term-time only role, perfect for someone who thrives in a school-based environment and wants to make a lasting impact. Why us?
