Key Responsibilities and Duties
Champion Health and Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed.
Preparation of accurate, competitive and detailed technical schedules for IG Masonry Support products with the assistance of a dedicated internal structural engineering team.
Produce cost variations post order to support the live projects team.
Follow up schedules with customers via phone calls and emails to build relationships with key contacts.
Provide basic calculations to the current standard for all products specified.
Provide detailed handovers to the project team when orders are received.
Deliver excellent customer service; attend office and sites when required to develop customer relationships, solve technical issues and develop product design.
Carry out product presentations as a training aid to staff and customers.
Conduct site installation training sessions for customers when required.
Changes in market conditions and business environment may require the role holder to undertake other reasonable tasks related to the position.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a construction estimating/technical role.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and extract relevant information efficiently.
Solid knowledge and understanding of the construction process.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Good organisational skills.
Commercially aware.
Target driven and ambitious.
Experience of using Bluebeam and AutoCAD desirable.
