We are looking for a Graduate QA Tester (Automation and Manual) to join our growing team at Fairbanks, Dover Fuelling Solutions on a full-time and permanent basis in Skelmersdale. You will work as part of a large agile Software Development team incorporating Data Architects, Software Developers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Software Testers to deliver world leading products to our customers.
What do we do?
Wetstock is the process of tracking fuel on a petrol station, from the point it is delivered to when it is sold. At Fairbanks, we are collecting data from thousands of petrol stations in real time around the globe and loading it into our systems that uses the latest cutting-edge technologies. This data is run through a series of complex algorithms that help our customers in decision making, and drive actions from our team of analysts. This could be anything from reviewing & actioning alarms, identifying a theft, right the way through to finding a leak that could impact the environment.
What will you be part of?
Our engineering team at Fairbanks are responsible for developing & testing a cloud-based application using maintain. We are passionate about the product and service we provide and are always looking to innovate in our industry.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a good theoretical knowledge of both manual and automation testing and have some experience in automation testing or coding using languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, SQL and tools such as Postman and Selenium (we are excited to see what you can do, so a link to a repository is always welcome). You will be passionate about quality and will help to write automation tests as well as conducting manual testing such as regression, load and UI testing.
