Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide chairside support to ensure patient comfort and care throughout treatments.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirming patient visits and follow-up appointments as needed.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and work areas to uphold infection control standards.
* Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance throughout their visit.

* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and the dental team effectively.
