Our client is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their busy team in their Petersfield office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused solicitor to play a key role in providing expert legal services within a friendly and supportive team environment.
Key Areas of Focus:
* Wills drafting
* Probate administration
* Court of Protection / Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
* Tax planning and advice
* Trust set up and administration
* Limited contentious probate work
Duties will include:
* Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
* Providing advice on Wills, Probate and Estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and Trusts.
* Demonstrating a compassionate and sensitive approach when dealing with elderly or incapacitated clients.
* Proactively networking and marketing to generate new business and enhance the firm's reputation.
* Maintaining good billing records and meeting targets within the team.
* Experience of contentious probate work is desirable but not essential.
Desired skills:
* Fee earning experience essential within Private Client with at least 1 years PQE +.
* Proven track record of achieving targets.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* STEP qualification desired but not essential.
* Business development and networking skills.
