About Our Client
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team within a leading UK-based industrial tools and services organisation. This individual will be responsible for driving profitable growth, developing regional sales strategies, and ensuring customer excellence across the division. You will manage a team of Sales Executives across your region.
Job Description
* Lead, coach, and mentor a team of field sales professionals
* Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with national business objectives
* Drive performance through effective KPI management, forecasting, and pipeline development
* Build strong, strategic customer relationships to enhance retention and revenue growth
* Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Category teams to ensure service excellence
* Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies to maintain market leadership
* Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus
The Successful Applicant
* Experience in sales management, preferably in the industrial tools, MRO, or distribution sectors
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading successful sales teams
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
* Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Ability to travel regionally as required
* Experience in regional sales operations
* Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
