Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. This is a mobile position, and the successful candidate will be provided with a company van and fuel card.
Role Summary
* Perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant, Equipment, and Building Services.
* Identify and manage risks through updating drawings, managing critical spares, and improving machinery performance.
* Utilize new equipment and technologies to maintain a production environment, liaising with clients on machinery PPMs.
* Fault finding on various machinery types.
* Support Health and Safety initiatives within the department.
* Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise, working on Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead Cranes.
* Complete Risk Assessments and ensure safety compliance.
* Work with Three Phase Systems up to 440V.
* Maintain Motors, Gearboxes, Valves, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical Systems.
* Use Mobile Devices for work documentation via the CAFM Maintenance System.
* Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools.
* Coordinate with onsite Site Services for Building Services issues.
* Act as the responsible person when needed and deputize the Shift Leader during absences.
* Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends.
* Perform ad hoc duties as necessary.
Experience and Qualifications
Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on industrial machinery preferred. Desirable skills include working with Three Phase Systems and overhead cranes.
