We're looking for a technically curious, hands-on engineer to join our growing Technical Department, supporting market-leading HVAC and controls solutions across the UK.
This is a varied, field-facing role where no two days are the same — combining technical problem-solving, supplier collaboration, site work, and customer support.
What you'll be doing
* Based from our Hemel Hempstead office, with regular travel across the UK (and occasional overnight stays)
* Acting as a key technical link with our main suppliers — Samsung, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric
* Attending manufacturer training courses and update meetings
* Staying up to date with product applications, diagnostics, and best practice
* Providing expert technical support on a wide range of systems, including:
* Air & water sourced (H)VRF systems
* Chillers
* Air-to-water heat pumps
* Heat recovery ventilation
* Split systems
* Local and central control systems & accessories
* BMS interfacing and bespoke control panels
* Supporting colleagues, contractors, and consultants via:
* Telephone and email support
* Technical training sessions
* Site visits for commissioning, fault-finding, and troubleshooting
* Completing commissioning documentation and producing clear, detailed site visit reports
* Maintaining an up-to-date technical library of manuals, software, and hardware tools
What we're looking for
* A reliable, professional engineer with a strong technical mindset
* Comfortable working:
* On construction sites
* At height
* Outdoors and in varied environments
* Flexible approach to working hours to meet customer and project requirements
* Strong communication skills — confident dealing with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
* A practical problem-solver with good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and manufacturer diagnostic tools)
* Willingness to learn — training provided
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
* Valid passport
* Appropriate CSCS card
* Ability to travel and stay away from home when required
