Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work on an agency basis, providing invaluable support to students within schools and educational settings in Windsor. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting students with their learning and personal development, enabling them to overcome barriers to education and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, some who may have SEN.
* Assist students with their academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy, adapting teaching materials and resources as necessary.
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being and providing encouragement and motivation.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
* Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the appropriate stakeholders.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
