Days: 4 days per week - 8 hours per day
Overview:
Responsible for all finance and accounts functions in a fast-paced, paper-based office. High-volume document handling and strong organizational skills required.
Key Duties:
* Manage high volume of account-related matters and daily emails
* Prepare and process invoices, credits, and expenses
* Maintain supplier tracker and invoice database
* Issue and process remittance and statements on a daily basis
* Input accounts into Sage 50 (sales, purchases, bank reconciliation)
* Handle payments, VAT returns, CIS spreadsheet, and CITB Levy docs
* Review debtors/creditors and chase outstanding payments and POs
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors on account queries
* Assist with payroll (outsourced) and general admin tasks
Skills:
* Strong accounts/admin background (minimum 2 years' experience)
* Proficient in Sage 50 and Excel
* Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing demands
* Work experience in Construction industry is advantageous
