We’re looking for a hands‑on, organised and enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Technician to join our team at Penwith Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting students as they develop their practical skills in a professional salon environment.
About the role
You’ll be an essential part of our Hair & Beauty provision, helping to create a professional, well‑organised, and inspiring environment for learning.
Your role will include:
* Setting up and preparing salon equipment and learning materials for sessions
* Maintaining and managing hair and beauty equipment, products, and stock
* Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the salon and reception area
* Assisting with bookings and answering client enquiries for both Inspiration salons and Senara restaurant.
* Managing laundry and ensuring the salon is clean, safe, and professional at all times
About you
You’ll be practical, proactive, and enjoy working in a busy, people‑focused environment.
You will have:
* A background in hairdressing or beauty therapy, ideally with some industry experience
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A practical, hands‑on approach to work
* Confidence working with staff, students, and clients
* Good understanding of health & safety and salon practices
* Work in a vibrant, professional salon setting
* Support and inspire the next generation of hair & beauty professionals
